Should ALL traces of religion be discarded and relegated to ancient history or a past memory?

I have been to London. There are SEVERAL books which mention London AND a man of great wisdom, named Sherlock Holmes. I will admit that Jesus DID exist, if you will admit that historical records prove that a man named Davy Crockett was elected to the U.S. Congress from the state of Tennessee.

Songs about Davy, at age 3, killing an adult bear, and stories about Davy teaming up with Mike Fink to battle river pirates, do not prove that this REAL person did what the songs and stories CLAIM he did. In like manner, songs and stories about Jesus rising from the dead, are not proof that Jesus actually DID. The simplest way to prove Risen Jesus still exists, is to read Matthew 18, IF that part of the Bible is not LIES, it reports that Jesus PROMISED you that ANYTHJING you ask of the Father, in the name of Jesus WILL be given.

So, ask of the Father that Risen Jesus be allowed to once again manifest Himself before a crowd of more than 500. MY excuse for not asking, is that I think Matthew 18 is LIES made up ABOUT Jesus, by people peddling a religion. What's YOUR excuse for not asking?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
