Avignon is interesting because of its historical old centre within walls, and the awesome Palais des Papes, which dominates the town but no longer has any religious connections since the popes only resided there for six years in medieval times. It is now a historical museum with huge rooms, but sparsely furnished, and has a lot of modern documentation and photos of what it looked like at different periods, and its history. It also has an excellent audio commentary that you can listen to on earphones.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
