Should men worry about HPV, or is it something that mostly effects women?

HPV is a serious risk for both men and woman. Not only does HPV increase the chances of women getting cervical cancer, this virus also poses a threat to everyone, men, women and children. All people are at risk for getting this virus on any mucosal areas of the body.So that doesn't just limit it to a vagina.

HPV is a major cause of mouth cancer in men and also linked to throat cancer. It is also linked to other conditions believed to cause penile and rectal cancer. The HPV that causes these cancers are not the same that cause genital warts, these are the ones without or with little symptoms.

There are different strands of it. Women are at more risk than men, you can check out more about these risk for men and stats at this link: cdc.gov/std/hpv/stdfact-hpv-and-men.htm If you are at age to receive the vaccine, which has been approved and suggested for boys and men. Go for it, what are you waiting for, run!

HPV doesn't have or produce any symptoms many times. Protect yourself and your partners... and your children. You can read more about the vaccine for boys and men here: bvwellness.com/2010/02/05/hpv-vaccine-fo....

The health effects are much more serious for women, as HPV can develop into cervical cancer, but nobody wants warts on their genitals.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
