The first thing if you want to save after all the validations passes then do something like this if @placement. Valid? @person.

Placements :create And Or if @placement. Valid? @placement.

Person = @person @company. Placements.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
