So some Christians *really* believe that it had never rained before the flood?

Bahahahaha! We were just misted. Whaaaat?

You know they had to have seen a rainbow before then. Didn't "De-Nile" the river in Egypt flood too? Lol.

Of course it rained before the global flood and of course their were rainbows. The Bible's writing about the flood and Noah are symbolic writings and in this text the rainbow is a symbol of God's alliance (covenant) with mankind. The Bible is not a scientific account about the history of the earth and it is not necessary to oppose science and the Bible.

Trying to understand the symbols in the Bible has a lot of meaning while reading it as a scientific textbook is nonsense. Well I guess some fundamentalists will condemn me to hell for what I just said. Ok, and what is hell supposed to symbolize?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
