So.. What's the story behind this Bruno stunt at the MTV Music Awards?

From watching it, it looks like a promotional stunt for the new Bruno movie. Everything looks staged except the Eminem part. I don't know if he was in on it or not, but I don't think Eminem would have agreed to something like that.

He looked pretty upset about it. Eminem has made fun of lots of people over the years, so I think it's ok to prank him, but this may have been going over the line. It must have been pretty humiliating for someone like Eminem to have a guy's naked rear end in his face on live television.

From what MTV is stating, it was staged, but up to a point. Eminem knew of a stunt coming from "Bruno" regarding him, but did not know of the ramifications and the exact details. As for whether he deserved it or not, it is debatable.

From a legal standpoint "Bruno" committed both physical and sexual assault upon Eminem, as well possible charges of slander and defamation can stem from this as well. From a social standpoint, Eminem has always been rabidly anti-gay so many would say he got his just deserts. He is also known as a man who takes himself very seriously and has no sense of humor, and that is why this act was so shocking for him.It all depends on where you stand in terms of behavior--if you think about being molested in good fun but against your will in a public venue is a matter of good taste or not.

From a crew member who worked on the show: Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged. That’s all anyone wants to talk about, so let’s get it out of the way. They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then.

It was Staged, After admitting that last week's stunt in which Sacha Baron Cohen's film character Bruno landed on 's lap the MTV Movie Awards was staged, the rap star has added that he was thrilled it went off with out a hitch. Yes Eminem was in on it, Eminem admitted that after he stormed out of the ceremony he returned to his hotel and "laughed uncontrollably for about three hours. Especially after I saw it on air".

Did Eminem deserve this? There was nothing to be deserved, he knew all about it.

Stupidity and publicity of which both were obtained. Personally I think there should be a indecent exposure charge filed.

Nicole...regardless of what you thought about Sweeney Todd it was an Academy nominated film. It is also a Tony Award winning stage play. As far as "immature" films go, it is not one.

Talledega Nights...cool if you think it is "stupid". Will Farrell's fan base is about equal to his haters as well. This is if you didn't dog those films based purely on the basis that I told you Cohen was in them.

Regardless, I'm curious about these "mature" movies you watch. I'm not even entirely sure why you sent the conversation in the direction but being that you did...please enlighten me.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
