Sound does not appear on 2 old (1998) VHS tapes when played on a newer VHS/DVD player/recorder?There is sound on old VCR?

There is sound on old VCR I have recorded about 35 old VHS tapes onto DVD's and have "finalized" the DVDs so that they could be played on any VHS/DVD player. But when I've tried on two different VHS/DVD players neither of these 2 tapes will duplicate the sound. However, when I play the 2 old VHS (1998) tapes on an older model VCR, the sound will appear?

Extended play VHS tapes may only work on the original VCR I had a simmilar issue with my extended play VHS tapes. They played fine in the original VHS camcorder, but had issues on my new VCR. I was planning on taking all of my home movies and converting from VHS to DVD using a capture to computer thingy I got at Best Buy.

However, after having the playback issues and realizing how much time it took to sit and watch all my tapes I eventually went with a video transfer service. I told them (StashSpace. Com) about my playback issue and they offered to take a look at my problamatic tapes free of charge.

They said that sometimes this happens with extended play tapes if they are not being played back on the same brand of VCR. Anyways they were able to play and convert the VHS tapes for me without any problems. Hope this helps.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
