Looks like a real long shot to me. For one thing, it seems to be a draft movement rather than her going out looking for support, which means it could be just a fan or two putting up a website. For another, it is not clear what party she is likely to represent, but looks rather like the Libertarian Party.
That's an official party here in LA but never gets very many votes. Also, a Senator has to win the whole state. Northern Louisiana is very conservative.
She's not Cajun (southwest) or black (New Orleans) so it's not clear where her core support would be. On the other hand, this is Louisiana. Stranger things have happened.
A congressional district that is almost all black and even more entirely Democratic just elected the first Vietnamese American to Congress, and he is a Republican. It's just the way the strange election panned out. And Louisiana recently elected the first Asian Indian American to be Governor, another Republican.
Overall, I'd say the odds of Stormy Daniels ousting Vitter as senator are slim, even if his scandal is resurrected by the Democrats. But, this being Louisiana, anything could happen. Heck, the election could roll around and find all the other candidates in jail for something or other giving her a default.
Here's one scenario: She really does run and is nominated by the Liberatians, who like to have someone run and need publicity. The Democrats nominate some typical black New Orleans politician who gets indited and goes to trial or pleads guilty just before the election (happened several times the last few years). The Republicans nominate Vitter for re-election, but he gets caught red-handed (handed?) in a raid on a brothel.
Apologizing for his sins a second time probably wouldn't work. The Green Party nominates their favorite candidate here, an ex-Black Panther with dreadlocks who never gets any votes. The Reform Party continues to fade and doesn't nominate anyone.
Stormy wins! Boosting LA tourism, I'm sure.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
