Teaching kids at home, my son is being bullied at school?

They shouldn't HAVE to be home-schooled. The schools should deal with the bullying then if they WANT to homeschool they should. Bullies can be anywhere.

In schools, at work (trust me I work with one) or even in homeschool groups. Students should learn to take the proper steps to stop the bullying and the schools have an obligation to make it stop. Here are my three reasons why they should make their own choice.

: It is their legal right to do so. It is none of our business if they wish to. They can take control of both their education and social lives.

Depends on the person, family & situation. 1) Kids don't need to have problems in school to be homeschooled-- it's a good enough choice on it's own, shown to have the potential to be quite effective, both socially and academically. 2) If the school environment is stressful and miserable, there is nothing noble about sticking it out and subjecting a child to continued abuses.

Continued, harsh bullying is not a character building experience, but rather one that can strip a person of confidence, security, trust, self esteem and all desire to be part of a community. Looking into alternatives, like transferring to a new public school, a private, a charter or to homeschool, makes more sense than continung to subject a child to further abuse. 3) Just because someone is bullied, doesn't mean they automatically willl like or benefit from homeschooling... just because someone's child was bullied doesn't mean that parent will provide the best homeschool environment (especially if the parent does so grudgingly and has no real desire to homeschool).

It will largely depend on their family and how their family wants to approach it. They may find that-- bullying or not-- they prefer homeschooling and are glad they tried it. Or, they may just move from one situation they dislike to another, unhappily forced to make do with the situation but never really getting the most out of it because they dislike it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
