The iPad base price is $499, will you buy it?

The Amazon kindle is the best e-book reader on the market. With 8 weeks battery life, connection to Amazon Prime, and a capacity to hold over 100,000 books, you will be excited. Get it now!

No. The iPad is a tweener that doesn't really have a home in my technology needs. The best that I can think of is that it would replace my netbook.

But that would either require me to type on the on-screen keyboard, or to buy the optional extra one, neither of which makes it more convenient than a netbook. I also use my netbook as a more portable means of downloading camera photos, to free up space on the SD card, that would not be an option with the iPad, without an adapter and card reader, and even it it was, would prevent me from transferring those photos to a USB stick at a later time. To me, it basically looks like to created a really big, expensive iTouch, another device I so far haven't found a need for.

No. I'd rather buy the latest communicator from Nokia.

I'll buy it if its 699$ and under IF it will replace another device of mine. I don't have a Kindle or an Ereader, but I do have and iPhone, so I'm still waiting for the "OMG" moment and make me have to have this.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
