The most recent piracy case in American courts was tried in New York (as is the current one). What happened and do you agree with the judge?

A state court ruled the Ambrose Light crew were pirates, even though they had committed no crime, because their ship was armed but not backed by any government. The case was reversed in federal court, partly on the basis of a State Department letter showing the ship had been legally sold, and that the U.S. Had by implication recognized the insurgents as a belligerent group in a state of war rather than as pirates.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
