I'd say - try to hide the popup before the navigation happens - there should be some ways to achieve that - maybe just call Dispatcher. BeginInvoke(() => NavigationService. Navigate(...)) to delay the navigation call and let you close the popup before the navigation occurs.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
