That's what netflix is for.(and often the bluray releases are so they can pack more special features onto the disc. ) .

I've got a ton of them - couldn't even begin to name them all.....and some like "M*A*S*H" are taking forever to watch - 12 years worth of programs! Probably the oldest one I've found that I wanted was the original "Mike Hammer" series starring Darren McGavin from the late '50's in beautiful black-and-white. The reason for their popularity should be obvious - there isn't much worth watching on the tube these days - most of it is pure, unadulterated crap!

Comedy programs shouldn't have to rely on toilet humor and sexual innuendo for laughs - look at some of the early ones - funny, and they didn't need all that to get a joke across. Is it any wonder people are buying the older programs? Plus, I'm sure there's a certain nostalgia value attached as well.

About the only things worth watching are on BBC America, TNT and FX - beyond that, it's what former FCC Chairman, the late Newton Minow said years ago about TV, "it's a vast wasteland. " .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
