{Christians/Catholics} Things that science has not answered are considered "God's woks, or Divine Mystery"?

God created science, which is little more then applied mathematics. Almighty God can also be referred to correctly as Almighty Scientist, and Almighty Mathematician. He created man reflecting his own qualities and attributes, therefore man has the ability to think scientifically and mathematically.

No, the Bible does not say the earth is 6000 years old, that's just flawed human interpretation of God's word. An earth billions of years old fits in very nicely with an accurate reading of the Bible.

I am Christian and I would have to agree with you... God gave man a brain that other animals didn't have and also the ability to use it. Had He gave man everfything, then man would not know anything, for man has to learn on his own. So God made man, then stepped back and allowed man to figure out life for himself.

All things man has done, both good and bad, are man's doing and not God's. Laser beams are created by man and can be used for surgery, and healing....but it also can be used for weapons....so man has his good side, and his bad....But people tend to blame God when things go bad, when in reality, it is the humans who created the problem in the first place. Getting killed by hurrincanes..... blame God.... but hurricanes have been around a lot longer then mankind has, it is just that man is building his homes and businesses in the path of the hurricane.

So when a town gets wiped out by a hurricane.....blame God...of course...even though God is not to blame, it is the ignorant human who is to blame. People who wrote the bible, did it at time when things were not known, such as evolution and the rotation of the Earth around the Sun.... to them, the Earth was the center of the "sky" and things rotated around the Earth....so naturally, Earth was made first...and then the sun and planets, that rotate around the Earth... to them, that is. No, I really think that God keeps His distance, and allows man to make his own life, and to learn from his mistakes... for unless we can do that on our own, we will not ever learn.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
