This day in History....The 19th Amendment to the Constitution, guaranteeing women the right to vote, is ratified by Tenn It’s the 90th Anniversary of that day that gave the two-thirds majority of state ratification necessary to make it the law of the land. When you think about it that is not that long ago. It’s strange to think that my grandmother didn’t have the right to vote.

When people talk about things in Washington not changing fast enough, they should think about the fact that it took 70 years for women to get this right. 1 I don't mean to belittle the day or anything, but I'm confused by your math. If ratification happened 90 years ago, how did it take 70 years to happen? 90 + 70 = 160.

This country is 234 years old. *confused* .

3 Remember, too, that there are certain elements in American society today - 2010- that want to take that right back from women.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
