Plan a year of dates..... I have done this and even though we do things anyway, this was special, because it us stop and make time for us to enjoy each others company. Plan 12 dates (one for each month), you can be as elaborate or as simple as you like. Also, from your details I take it that this is not your first marriage, so this is a nice way to say, that you plan on being with her for the 'long haul' so to speak.

You can make this personal to the things you and she like, but here are some ideas. You can put details of each 'date' in an envelope and she opens it at the beginning of each month or you can let her know the dates all at once in advance..... Buy her favorite romantic movie (or a gift card to a movie rental place) and her favorite snack and set a 'date' for curling up and watching the movie together. Buy her tickets to a favorite show or permformance.

Plan a seasonal activity that she loves, taking a tour to see the autumn leaves, favorite festivals (find the date they will be held this year by checking their website and/or local activity calendar). Get her a coupon to a spa or give her a 'spa day at home' coupon that you make and when that day comes, have a basket with her favorite lotion, bubble bath, whatever she likes (plus, if you need help as to what to include, you can always ask the ladies of Askville for ideas) Plan a day trip to someplace she'd enjoy, museum, zoo, etc. Get a gift certificate for her favorite restaurant or give her a homemade coupon for 'dinner out' or 'I'll fix you a romantic dinner'.(Depending on budget, you can make these 'dates' as expensive or as 'low cost' as you like, it is the thought and time that matters, not the price tag :0) ). Well, right there are 6 ideas, I could give you more, if I knew more about her hobbies, interests, etc, but I think that you get the idea and that what I've listed should get your mind working as to what she would like to do this upcoming year.

The gift cards are available at local markets in our area. However, if you purchase bank cards, you are charged $3.95 and it can be a hassle to spend it. If Mrs. has a special hobby buy gifts around that hobby.

Example: If she likes to sew, buy a sewing machine. If she likes facials or spas, buy a certificate fo one. Now that is a real treat and a half!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
