Many Privileges, Few Rights I would give up privileges such as a/c, all forms of plastic, I would use a compost trash system and use solar power if I could afford to initially get it. I would surrender many privileges but I would have to be asked about each of every right to make sure it was actually going to help the species survive and prosper. I feel that too many men and women have died to allow me to have the rights that I am blessed with so I would have to take a very close look at each and every right that would be taken from me.

Satan values groups over individuals. God values individuals over groups, and saves the individual soul. And yet requires all members of the group to adhere to His law even while the group is running the opposite direction.

God is that powerful, that He can be personally involved in the life of individuals, almost seven billion at once, in a personal, love relationship with each one. Satan has nothing like God's power and ability, so while he's trying to make out that he does, he's stuck dealing with large groups like nations or skin colors and making those more important than the individual. ) To your question, I have no "rights" but what God and government allows, so I don't care of the government want to "protect" me by having my household monitored . . Except that the next step is killing the innocent without due process of law.

Not to play prophet of the future, but that's how it's gone every time in the past, and humans aren't any different now.

I would be willing to give up many priviliges, car for public transportation, flat tax for everyone including me (includes businesses) national health care for all usa citizens for higher taxes, A/C, heat vs using fire place, having to grow own fruit and veggies, having to reuse most items vs buying new ones. I'm not that willing to give up my individual rights, (I don't want the gov being able to enter my home for no unknown reason), kids being taken away for no unknown reason, right to divorce, free choice of what I want to do with my own body, right to say what I want when I want to without going to jail.

1 Frankly I never saw the point in helping the species prosper. This planet would be great if it weren't for all the humans.

2 No sure quite what you mean here. Do you mean can I give up some things like having to much, some comfort and leisure time, leaving the lights on all the time, seperating garbage to recycle what I can and living within my means. These things we are all going to HAVE to do because the economy will not maintain itself so yes I can give up lots of things like this.

If you mean my freedoms and liberty then no I would fight to the death. This user has been banned from Askville.
