While the Old Testament is a valuable resource for understand God's way I don't think it's being applied properly in this case. The anointed was the king of Israel who stood in OT times as a type of King Jesus yet to come. No pastor should consider himself anointed in that sense.
The relevant NT passage would be I Timothy 5:19 "Do not admit a charge against an elder except on the evidence of two or three witnesses. " While this text give special protection to church leaders it contemplates the possibility that some will err. Indeed church history is full of uppity preachers who should have been challenged in an orderly and loving manner.
Hope this helps.
It's religion, what do you expect, seriously.
Even after Saul had lost the throne to David because of his insincere repentance in front of Samuel, David refused to touch Saul because of the anointing that God had put on Saul by the hand of Samuel.
So, though there may be a prophet or evangelist who long ago lost his "throne", it would be unwise for any of us to attack that person.
For me personally, I only attack when I feel led to do so, or if the teachings are clearly and blatantly against God (e.g. , Bill Johnson, Todd Bentley, Rick Warren, Kim Clement, etc. ).
I do believe that our Father has called each of us in very clear ways. Obedience is so powerful, we should walk as we are told. If called to the ministry of small favors, do it.
If called to renounce false prophets, do that, too. Even if the person is/was anointed, do what God says to do. That is simple.
The message of obedience is powerful and constant all through scripture.
All true prophets/servants of God direct everyone to the Father, not to themselves. If you already know Jesus personally, there is no need to suck milk from the menagerie of prophets walking around. Always follow God, not men.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
