UIGestureRecognizer causing “EXC_BAD_ACCESS” error?

The method handlePan is on your view controller, not on your view. You should set the target to self.

This is my way to use Gesture Recognizer. I think this way is easy and with low risk.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
