Unable to display Certain PDF fonts in iPad?

PDFs can have the fonts embedded so that if the target system doesn't know the font it doesn't try any strange substitutions. What is the source of your PDFs? Are you able to check/change whether all fonts are embedded?

1 . Thanks for the reply jowie.... I don't know the source of the PFD's as they are given by my clients. I don't know the process of checking the fints in PDF.. can you tell me the process of doing it.

– A for Alpha Nov 3 '11 at 8:25 Depending on your viewer, you should be able to get the properties for the PDF. This should list fonts used, and hopefully whether they are embedded. I have seen a lot of discussion about alternate viewers for PDF because of problems with the built-in viewer so if it is an option for you, perhaps try using a different viewer library.

One of my colleagues did this because of memory issues - built into the application and thus transparent to the user of the app. – jowierun Nov 22 '11 at 13:27.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
