Under what conditions will you get unresolved external symbol for __declspec(dllimport)?

I believe what you need to do is specify the Rails "import library" to the linker. Using the GUI, this is on the linker tab of project settings, under "additional libraries.

I would just like to add, if you are using Qt Creator, this error means you need to add the appropriate import library to your project (.pro) file.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
