Using gradient background in UITableViewCell?

Don't add the view directly to the cell, add it to the cell's contentView This will ensure that when orientations occur, resizing occurs as expected and not some screwed up way. This will also ensure that, in other cases where you may have some other view (such as a scrollview) embedded in that view, it will actually scroll fluidly, etc. Things work as expected when they are placed where they're...expecting.

But when I try to put the view as background view it won't show up somehow :S I don't get what I am doing wrong. – Samuli Lehtonen Nov 15 '10 at 19:16 jer was instructing you NOT to use backgroundView. Use contentView.

The was also mentioned in a WWDC video – griotspeak Nov 17 '10 at 15:35.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
