Wow! I just looked this up. There'a a whole bunch of alkaline vegetables that would cancel out the acid in your stomach.

They are:Asparagus, Artichokes, Cabbage, Lettuce, Onion, Cauliflower, Radish, Swede, Lambs Lettuce, Peas, Courgette, Red Cabbage, Leeks, Watercress, Spinach, Turnip, Chives, Carrot, Green Beans, Beetroot, Garlic, Celery, Grasses (wheat, straw, barley, dog, kamut etc. ), Cucumber, Broccoli, Kale, and Brussels Sprouts. And in the fruit category, the alkaline ones are:Lemon, Lime, Avocado, Tomato, Grapefruit, Watermelon (is neutral), and Rhubarb. So it sounds like if you need an antacid, rather than take a pill, you can eat more of these foods in your diet! .

Have to dig up the juicer I got for X-mas last year. I was so going to go into that.... shame on me.

Danzee, as always great answers. Your enemies follow you with thumbs down and I go thumbs up.

I want a software package that keeps track of diet, nutrition, fitness and also lets me do regular diary entries.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
