I do not believe that they make such a thing. VHS player? Not sure you can buy one independently or combined with a dvd player.

I don't think the fact that her tv is analog will make any difference. I would talk her into upgrading beforehand.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
