It appears that he was . Another deceitful person with no respect for their partner & family as well as low or no values and morals . And the mistress is no better .

Hopefully his wife will kick him to the curb and find an honest man to spend the rest of her life with .

I don't approve of this type of behavior, however...I do understand it. People cheat for many reasons. People in the limelight, for the most part, are extremely vulnerable in this regard, because they think (most of them) so highly of themselves.

When you are a male who is in "middle-age"and temptation rears its ugly head, you quite often begin to rationalize your behavior. And....if there is any little flicker in your heart regarding your long term relationship going bad....oops....there it is....

I had a father and some uncles. I have 3 sons and 2 grandsons. I have one husband.

I also had a grandfather, and worked around men of all ages for years and years....This cheating germ does manifest itself in the oddest places sometimes...lol...

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
