Was it right for the PGA Tour to fine Tiger Woods for his comments?

If Tiger's comments broke rules established by the PGA, then he should be fined. Do I agree with the rules? In this case, since he was defending his playing partner and the comments weren't really that malicious, just stating a fact, then I think the fine isn't completely justified.

Tiger's comments did break a rule established by the PGA. They are not allowed to criticize a rules official. Ironically, however, I think it makes him look better because it shows how much he enjoys competing and sensed how well Paddy was playing.

Tiger broke the rules, so yes, he should be fined. Tiger is very media savvy and he should know better. There are many ways that he could have phrased the comment to convey his point (he didn't like the fact that going on the clock appeared to have impacted Harrington's play) without saying "John got in the way of a great battle."

Side note - There were only two people in the group, so there is a 50/50 chance he should really be blaming himself for slow play as much as any rules official for enforcing the rule.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
