Was Ted Bundy unsupervised around February 1976 through April 1976?

He was not. Bundy was being held in a Utah jail for kidnapping. After his conviction in Utah he was facing more charges and it was then that he escaped for the first time.

He would be rearrested and escape one more time before his final arrest for the murders in Florida and then his date with the electric chair.
