What are some benefits of genetic engineering in agriculture?

Need less water, more pest resistant, more mildew and fungus resistant, better yield, quicker maturity, need less sunlight, more cold or heat resistant... the possibilities are endless. It's estimated that genetically engineered crops combined with large-scale industrial farming, means plenty of food for everybody in the world. World hunger is caused by distribution problems, not production problems.

Resistance to specific diseases, less need for water, more appealing flavours, colours, textures and size. Better yield etc... the list goes on. Conventional farming produces about 25% more food than Organic farming so GM crops produce more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
