Tell your kids not to take or accept checks from any person they do not know. 2. Make ten copies of blank checks with copy paper make sure the account numbers are crossed out in a way they cannot be read by anyone.3. Tell the child to take the check, turn it over and sign on the top line on the back of the check. You can pretend you are the bank, or store that the child will be cashing the check at.
