What are the best remedies for the common cold?

A great remedy I came across recently is using apple cider vinegar. You put 2 tablespoons of it in 6-8 oz water, with 2 tablespoons of honey, and you can heat it up in the microwave. I've had a bad cold for a week now and couldn't shake it off, but this drink helped clear my sinuses and really took the edge off my cold.

I've started having one cup of this a day, (I'm sure you can have more if you want), and feeling much better.

A very effective remedy that I always use to cure common cold is to boil in a cup of water a cinnamon stick and a clove. Leave the tea to brew about 10 minutes. Then mix the tea with a fresh lemon juice and a tablespoon of honey.

Drink this 3 times daily. I usually get rid of the cold in 2-3 days.

A remedy that I use and is very effective is, in two cups water add 1 tablespoon honey, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder, pinch cardamon powder, small piece of menthol crystal. Boil for 3 minutes, drink hot. Try atleast thrice a day.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
