What are the differences and similarities of Organized Crime and Terrorism?

In some ways it is the difference between "visibility" and "invisibilty". Organized crime is looking to function without necessarily being seen. In fact, they like things to look very normal and when the criminal aspect of the activity takes place, there is no one who steps up and takes credit for carrying it out.

Organized crime is about and focused on "greed". Terrorism, on the other hand, lives on visibility. If you are going to terrorize, then you have to make the actions known and on a big enough scale to make individuals believe they are in danger.

Terrorists do not want to get caught but they do want their actions to be extremely visible to those on which they are focused. Most of the time, they will also speak out and take credit for the action as proof that they do exist and are capable of carrying out future actions. WB.

Organized Crime is crime of an "organized" nature. We usually think of the Mafia when we speak of organized crime. The Mafia, though not what it used to be, is a body put together to go about crime in a much more systematized, coherent, methodical way to maximize efficiency and profit.

Terrorism is understood to be a political tactic, encompassing varoius "hit and run," "guerilla" warfare tactics, psychological "terror," and the like. There are even those who say that the American revolutionaries used "terroristic" tactics against the British in the late 1770s.

The quick answer is, Organized crime is involved with illegal activities for the purpose of profit, while Terrorism is involved with the destabilization of Societies, governments, and Social Order.

Organized crimes is associated mostly with crimes in which 1 target is the main goal while terrorism targets a longer public. Similarities, people either die or live.

They are both well planned organized anti social activities. The only difference is that terrorists are ready to die for sake of spreading terror.

Lots of similarities, actually. We've got new BUZZWORDS designed to control our population (this is called psychopolitics). The word "Mob" is actually used in this culture to hint at the existence of a group that terrorizes and enslaves people who do not follow Biblical Law OR disagree with the way things are these days.

This society is comprised of people who have been driven mad by ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT. They are trained just like animals to do whatever they are told, however they are told and whenever they are told. They've been robbed of their wills, which makes organized stalking possible.

They are always RIGHT THERE when you are thinking something disturbing. So, technically: our country is ruled by an organization of "dog people" who obey an unseen "Master". They are called this because they obey the rhythmic, ear-ringing messages AND because they've been "trained" like animals.

They USE TERROR on ordinary people, so that they lose touch with ordinary reality and obey the SYNTHETIC REALITY carried on rhythmic, high-pitched, ear-ringing sounds. It has been documented that Microwave-based technology can be used to cause a person to experience feelings and thoughts that are NOT THEIR OWN. We have a nation that has been bamboozled out of their original reality and follows an ARTIFICIAL REALITY.

A better question might be -"What is the difference between politically organized terror and rogue elements of covert government operatives and organized vrime.

Organized crime is in it for the money. They don't commit suicide to make a point. They kill the other guy and live to attend his funeral.

Osama bin Laden isn't in it for the money. He lives in a cave. And those that flew planes into the towers weren't either.

That's the kind of thing that only a true believer would do. A skeptic would never do that.

Organized crime is a profession of earning money by doing crime or threat like drug pedaling, Mafia, kidnapping, killing, extorting, robery, blackmail etc Long list. Planned use of violence or the threat against civilians with specific goals are either political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through violence, coercion, instilling fear, hijack etc Long list .

Religious motivation, and wanting to overthrow the government. Publicity, and attention, whether it be negative or positive.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
