Although there are a plethora of upsides to buying a hybrid or electric car, and I would recommend one to anyone who's in the market for a car, as with anything there are downsides. One in particular comes to mind as the winter weather settles into the northern part of the United States. Since hybrid engines are not consistently running, they never heats up to the degree that a standard engine does.
Therefore you are left with a car interior which is frigid and very difficult to heat up in the dead of cold. The way we overcame this with our hybrid is by buying seat warmers which plugged in with a cigarette lighter adapter. Our mileage dipped significantly due to the fuel required to run the heater in the cold climate and we dared not venture out in inclement weather because the car was rather light (by design) and did not handle well in the ice and snow.In conclusion, I believe that hybrids do best and give the most at low speeds, on flat terrain and in moderate climates.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
