What are the main differences between playing actual guitar and playing Guitar Hero?

I would say they are really different. For me, playing Guitar Hero is a lot easier. The main differences are that one is a video game that lets you pretend to play guitar while the other can make real music.

One of the few similarities would be that when playing Guitar Hero, you press the keys down and strum just like on a guitar. Guitar Hero is a fun game, but not the real deal.

Well, I would say that the switching keys on a guitar hero guitar, and switching chords on a real guitar is one similarity. You have to do it quickly! Otherwise, there are many more differences than similarities.1.

You don't actually strum in guitar hero 2. Pressing a button instead of playing a real chord is much easier.3. There's no such thing as picking or chords on guitar hero.
