Without doubt, climate change is one of the most serious topics in Argentina. Specifically, the big problems include deforestation and the retreat of the glaciers – a major immediate worry for regions like Mendoza and San Juan whose agricultural economies depend heavily on water from the glaciers. Then there is the rising sea level and the threat this poses for low-level coastal areas.
These are priorities in terms of climate change, and then there are other matters related to the environment, like pollution, in the Riachuelo river for example. All the municipalities that lie in the basin of the River Riachuelo – which stretches beyond the city of Buenos Aires and affects around five million people – are a big worry for us. The same thing is happening in the basins in the provinces of Tucumán and Santiago del Estero, where the rivers are heavily polluted and threatening a large local population.
Sounds like a lot of problems… Yes, there are a lot. But some of these are problems ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
