It would appear there is a movement to increase general nonprofit use of Twitter (beth.typepad.com/beths_blog/2008/02/the-... and marshallk.com/twitter-for-nonprofits). I looked at some of the twitter sites in the Non-profit Pack (on this page twitterpacks.pbwiki.com/Twitter-Pack-by-...), and one stood out to me as a way to use Twitter. This one was using it to promote a holiday charity fundraiser, Menu for Hope (twitter at twitter.com/FriendsofWFP and website at http://friendsofwfp.typepad.com/friends/2008/12/support-menu-for-hope.html).
If you want to discuss how to get more nonprofits involved, Marshall Kirkpatrick's blog points to this forum (http://forums.techsoup.org/cs/forums/15.aspx). That's what I can offer; I didn't want you to get no answers, and I'm not 100% clear on your question. Hopefully a more twitter-savvy member can help.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
