What are the positions on a basketball team?

Point Guard, Shooting Guard, Small Forward, Power Forward, Center. Point Guard is the player who handles the ball most frequently bringing it up the court, passing to the players in the best position to score a basket. He's usually the quickest player, gets a lot of steals and assists.

The shooting guard, is just that, usually a very good outside shooter. One of the best scorers on the team and many times the best 3pt shooting threat on the floor. The guards in general are shorter than the forwards and center.

The small forward is typical very versatile and well rounded. He can do some of the things a guard does yet can be more physical and play inside closer to the basket against some of the bigger players. He will be responsible for a lot of scoring and rebounding, although not as much rebounding as the power forward or center.

Generally small forwards range from about 6' 5" to about 6' 9". The power forward has a similar role as a center, yet is more adept at taking a mid range shot (12 to 15 feet) than the center. Typically he plays a physical game with his back to the basket and is a strong defender and rebounder.

Many power forwards are in the 6' 7" to 6' 10" range. The center is usually the tallest and largest member of the team. He will play defensively near the basket, generally a good shot blocker and rebounder.

Oftentimes a center's offensive game is limited to shorter shots.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
