Ya don't need an x-ray, ya don't need meds;; if this is a bone spur ya need to follow these directions & you'll be fine;; bone spurs are caused by too much tension to the tendons that connect into the calcaneus (heel bone);; there are a LOT of tendons that connect here & usually one tight tendon leads to another;; so, stretching is the most vital treatment you can use, so warm up your legs by walking, then stretch the calves;; sitting with your leg propped up, strap a pillow case or something comparable to your FOREFOOT & pull back on the pillowcase for about 5 long seconds for 10 reps;; then for 5 reps ea with a 10second hold, try pulling one side of the pillowcase a little more (this will take care of the tendons that help you go sideside), then pull on the other for another 5 reps;; then put a small pillow under your knees & do another 10reps stetch @ 5second hold to get the deeper muscle in your calf; this hooking of the pillowcase on your forefoot will also stretch your arch;; now, an ice cube;; take it & rub it right over the center of your heel for 5 minutes (it will burn);; after that is done, take your thumb or finger right on top of that bubble in the center of your heel & press hard (it hurts)..then give a little dig or wiggle...this helps to break up the scar tissue built up on that attachment;; then get yourself some arch supports with a gel heel, they cost about $7 @ the drugstore in the Dr Scholl's area..the more plastic, the more firm & that's what you need;; also try walking with an increased stride so as to work those feet a little more..make sure your shoes are somewhat flexible in the soles, but no floppies...good luck, but I treated these like crazy when I first started in therapy & they are an easy fix IF ya actually work for it...gotta do everyday @ least twice a day to reap the benefits within the week;; also, cont taking your meds for pain...whatever your doc allows..good luck! On the foot & the bb...
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
