The "itchy eyes" tell me that's allergy symptoms which you have there and not a cold. For a cold, I'd say drink vinegar. For allergy, it's your own body you're fighting against, so take Claritin or whatever other anti-histamine works for you.

Neti Pots work well for stuffed up sinuses but I don't think that's what you need. For your throat and cough, I HIGHLY recommend Hall's Refreshers. They are so awesome - they're very tasty and help with cough and sore throat, plus they're cheap!Aspx.
