What Causes Bladder Infections?

A bladder infection is caused when bacteria gets pushed into the urethra. Common causes of bladder infections (or UTIs) are sexual intercourse, pregnancy, or even waiting too long to urinate. Painful urination, lower back pain, and fever are just a few symptoms of a bladder infection.
