Knots in your back are really just tight muscle. Some of the causes of these knots are stress, over exertion, bad posture, lack of exercise, a fall, bad exercise form, bending or lifting and standing for long periods of time.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
