What chance does Mitt Romney have against Obama?

According to NBC, we needed to vote in Obama. Why? Because he helped the economy be the best it has been since the fall of 2008.

I laughed at this, especially the fools who kept bragging about this stat. I kept laughing because they were basically saying that the economy was finally as good as it was under Bush! Our economy didn't start to turn around until Republicans took the House.

It progressively got worse when Obama took office and both houses were Democratic. Based on that, I would say that Romney would have been a better choice. The Dow didn't drop hundreds of points until the day after Obama was elected.

People want to blame everyone but Obama. But the fact is, this happened IMMEDIATELY after Obama was elected again. It's because companies, including international companies, now see America as a sketchy investment.

Edit: Interesting how "Uncle" doesn't understand our government. The Republicans were unable to 'BLOCK" bills from becoming laws. They filibustered certain bills and the Democrats IMMEDIATELY gave up trying to pass these bills.

MOST of these bills had something stupid added to it. For example. Obama asked for MORE funding for the military.

It was an outrageous amount. Republicans filibustered it. Democrats added a repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell" to it.

Then they told everyone that Republicans hated gays and didn't want to repeal "Don't Ask Don't Tell"... which just so happens to be a policy from Clinton. This is the stupid crap Uncle is spreading. He fails to tell you that Democrats were pulling crap with these bills.

Republicans promised Obama that they would agree to the repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell" if Democrats introduced it on its own bill (which they did as promised). Uncle fails to tell you about this childish behavior from politicians.... or isn't intelligent enough to understand our government. Obama has been a terrible president.

He is another Bush. He has the same policies yet Uncle doesn't mention these. Probably because being a hypocritical bigot is natural for him.

I don't think the economy was as big of an issue in this election as the GOP thought. The economy is going to be a struggle regardless of who won the election. I think more people voted for Obama because what the really feared in losing to Romney were personal rights and choices.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
