What Christmas present (given or received) do you remember most from your childhood?

An English saddle. I desperately wanted one so I could jump my horse at horse shows (4-H). 35 years later, I still have that saddle.

Of all the gifts I've ever received for Christmas, its definitely stood the test of time!

It started my love for handkerchiefs.... it was a box of beautifully embroidered with roses....yellow with other little flowers. I loved them....I carried them everywhere in my little purse. I was about 7 but my love affair with handkerchiefs continue to this day......and I'm not that old...LOL.

When my parents bought me a IBM 486-DX 66. I loved that computer!

A 7up soda dispenser. Really cool for the 70's.

Few years back I my mom gifted me kites for Christmas. She knows that I love kites and I collect them.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
