What color does acid turn Litmus paper?

Whereas an alkaline will turn red litmus paper blue.

If it I an acid, it will turn the paper read or the color of fanciful romantic expectations!

An acid turns blue litmus paper to red. Is there anything deeper you are expecting as the answer? Because I feel the question is rather too simple but if there is something deeper to the answer then you can please answer the question for everyone.

I don't know why you ask this question. Any book on Elementary Chemistry will tell you that acid turns litmus red and alkali will turn it blue. It will be purple in neutral condition.

Im sure it will purple in neutral cond. Chemistry google and you will find other anwser.

Check any simple chemistry book or simple buy a litmus paper and sprinkle some lemon juice to see what color you get.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
