What did Hubble discover and why is it important?

I'm pretty sure he's the one who discovered that everything in the universe is moving away from each other, and accelerating. This is important because it means at one point everything must have been together (i.e. The Big Bang).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
