Are we capable, of course, but I suspect you already know this answer. There has been more than one wise man, saint, or mystic that has shown us it is not only possible & we are entirely capable, but is part of our true nature. Remember this is in part a school for the sleeping & confused, for all who still see themselves as separate.
As long as the individual sees themselves as separate they will honestly believe that for them to win another must lose. Only as the individual comes to experience unity consciousness & sees that individual consciousness is a part of & connected to all consciousness will they begin to see the absurdity in such conflicts. Unfortunately, this is the place where we learn these lessons.
We only have a choice between illusion or truth when we finally wake up to the illusion. This level, or another like it will always exist for those who still need to learn these lessons. As we rise above as individuals into that expanded unified consciousness we either become a beacon for others here for a time or move on to the next level that awaits us.
Be the change you wish to see in the world.
Maybe in a world where nothing is worth fighting for... Could try to avoid or surrender to every approaching conflict but would probably increase the risk of fading away into some kind of irrelevance. Edit- "or perhaps we will be forced to Consider Her Ways." Is that implying that women are more peaceful and less likely to conflict with their surrounding..? I find that hard to believe, most women do not even get along with many other women and are often too narcissistic to consider anything as being beneficial to the whole unless it directly benefits themselves.. Maybe that's what the system encourages, everyone evolving into a bunch of super narcissists.
Every man/woman for themselves in a chaotic and greedy grab for much more than will ever be needed. Yep, that benefits the high rollers and corporations, look at the economy go now.. lets all consume to the max. Buy all kinds of fancy crap to make the rich people richer. Everything is oh so cheap (bargains everywhere) and ever so meaningful as it is most likely made in a 3rd world nation and a slave labour force.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
