What do you call your dad's step dad's father?

It would be a courtesy title if you chose to call him great grandpa. Otherwise call him by his first name.

Well your dad's step dad would be your step grandfather. That step grandfather's dad would be your step great grandfather. Again, why not just call him by name?

Step great grandfather seems pretty far removed.

I don't have a clue since he is not a blood relation at all. If he were still alive I think I would call him Mr....... out of respect. If this man was a blood relative I think he would be your great grandfather.

If its for a school project for Veterans Day, why not call him by the rank he was when he retired from the military, Like Sargeant Smith, Captain Jones etc, out of respect for his service to out country.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
