What do you think about RPG games?

Role Playing Games can be very addicting and immersive and can be a great alternative to the traditional shoot-em-up and first person shooter type games that are all the rage these days. When I was younger, I had no problem getting involved in these types of games and spending hours trying to figure out puzzles, develop characters and complete story lines. These days, however, I feel that my attention span for video games has gone down tremendously and I find it hard to get involved in RPG's due to the long time it takes to get a feel for the game and start actually participating.

Because your question was filed under "hobbies" instead of "video games", I'm going to assume that you're refering to tabletop, pen-and-paper (pnp) games like Dungeons & Dragons rather than things like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. Working from that assumption... I have been a pnp role playing gamer for twenty six years, and I can tell you that I think Role Playing games are fantastic. They are an intensely social activity that allows you to have fun with friends while indulging in a shared storytelling experience.

Participating in role playing games can lead to very tight friendships, fun memories, and a hobby that lasts a lifetime. That having been said, getting into the hobby can be problematic, especially for women. There are more than a few people in the hobby that give the rest of us a bad name.

Some of them lack basic social skills, others are... intense, to be nice about it. Older game groups can become isolationistic, and treat new players poorly. Many of the games out there have a steep startup cost, even if the ongoing costs are fairly cheap for such an expansive hobby (getting the three books you need to play D&D for instance, can run you $120 USD or more).

But all those challenges? Totally worth it. If you are looking to dive in, I suggest beginning with Dungeons & Dragons.It has the largest user base and a pretty vast support network.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
