What do you think about that lady who tried to assasinate Gerald Ford 32 years ago?

I agree with Gerald Ford about his attempted assassin, Sara Jane Moore. He said she was "off her mind" in an interview in 2004. She was the most recent of the two assassination attempts that year and the one that appeared yesterday on the Today Show.

The poor woman is of no great intellect and is apparently easily influenced. Sadly, her statement that she "doesn't regret trying" to kill Ford is both a testament to her inability to learn any sort of morality and the supposed rehabilitative power of years in prison. She will remain on supervised parole for another couple of years.

Her predecessor in assassination attempt by 17 days, Squeaky Fromme, is of similarly weak intellect, strong will, and a tendency toward addiction. Although she is still behind bars, she has a tentative release date of August 16, 2009. She has historically waived her right to appear at her parole hearings, however, which is a condition of release.

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
