What do you think about this Republican filibuster on Wall Street Reform?

The party of "no" is not holding together on this one. They started out by saying that it didn't go far enough or that it went too far, depending on who they are currently accepting bribes from. So it is unlikely that Obama hate will be sufficient amongst elected Republicans to endanger their chances of reelection even further by taking another obstructionist swipe at "That One" when it is obvios their cronies on Wall Street need to be brought within the pale of decency and civilization.

From what I have heard, many Republicans believe that the govt forced banks to make mortgage loans to black people and hispanics and that this is what wrecked the banks and the economy. So, I am assuming that the Republican plan is to pass a law that allows redlining and other discriminatory practices of the old days when banks just did not make loans in certain neighborhoods or perhaps outright banning banks from making loans to blacks and minorities and that this will protect the economy just fine....in their right wing opinion.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
