I actually really like the name and I've never met a Seamus before. It's a strong, masculine name. My parents gave me a unique Arabic name and I hated it because nobody ever pronounced it correctly, kids made fun of me, etc. But now as an adult, I love having a different name.
It makes me unique and stand out more. I'm usually the first and only person that people have met with my name and it makes people remember me better! :) Everyone knows 10 Sarah's or 15 Josh's, but there are very few people they've met with my name!
You'll learn to love your name with time.
I can relate to that. My name is Toraibella, and the A is silent, but no one seems to get that, so it's always mispronounced and people ask why my parents named me such a ridiculous name or why they screwed up the spelling - which they didn't. But I don't think my name is bad, necessarily because of that.
I like my name. If you don't like your name, my best advice would be to legally change it when you are of age. It's not that difficult of a process.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
